Resident Evil 2 is a game that appeared in 1998 on PlayStation. Resident Evil 2 Remake was developed by Capcom with a view to modern hardware platforms, based on the original story and slightly modified prototype mechanics. WHAT IS GAME? Resident Evil 2 takes place a few months after the events known from the first part. In the underground laboratory of Dr. William Birkin, a "cleaning squad" appears on the Umbrella corporation, which takes over the test results, while William seriously injures the rifle series. A dying doctor in desperation rescues himself by injecting himself with a dose of G virus, which immediately turns him into a hideous mutant. The beast catches up with the torturers in the sewers beneath the streets of the city and cuts them down, breaking the protected vials with the T virus. The rats in the sewers catch the infection, spreading the plague quickly around the city. One of Umbrelli researchers, Frederic Downing, uses the resulting confusion to steal samples of the T and G virus from the employer's laboratories, and then flees the city. A freshly baked policeman Leon S. Kennedy begins his first duty just when the situation at Raccoon gets out of control. Similarly to Claire Redfield, who unfortunately chose the day to look for her brother, known from the first part of Chris. STORY The plot of Resident Evil 2 Remake largely coincides with the plot of the original and takes place a few months after the events that took place in the first installment of the series. The zombie epidemic makes the inhabitants of Raccoon City begin to turn into bloodthirsty monsters. MECHANICS Resident Evil 2 Remake in terms of the game strongly resembles the original from 1998, but the title develops classic solutions and introduces a lot of new elements. Resident Evil 2 is one of the most famous games about fighting, war, weapons and it has a horror content in all the various modes of the game. Many people love this game because it succeeds in being as friendly as what you do inside. The game system of Resident Evil 2 is focused on exploring the scenarios, solving puzzles and combat and many other interesting things that characterize at best this fantastic game. Since its release in January 1998, various adaptations of the original game have been produced for other game consoles. Most of these new versions have new features that are not present in the version of PlayStation for example to most of the following adaptations took as a basis the Dual Shock Version for development.
Resident Evil 2 has two main characters different from those of the first game: Leon S. Kennedy, a policeman on his first day of service in Raccoon City; and Claire Redfield, a university student who arrives in the city with the purpose of finding her missing brother Chris Redfield, one of the participants of the events of the first game. Although Leon and Claire get to know each other from the beginning of the plot, during most of the game they each go their own way looking for other survivors.
Among the survivors are Ada Wong, a young woman looking for her boyfriend John - an employee of Umbrella whose whereabouts are unknown and then meets Leon; and Annette and Sherry, wife and daughter of William Birkin, who in turn is the creator of the G-virus, a new biological weapon that makes its first appearance in this video game.
It is a very beautiful preview of this fantastic game for which everything likes. Then we can say that it is a survival horror where you will have a very bad time and because of that has a gloomy atmosphere. The darkness will be in much of Resident Evil 2, and that seeks to win, that this is what is important.
